Alan is the founder and first president of the Los Angeles Valley Applicants’ Attorneys Association (LAVAAA). Alan attended UCLA undergraduate and Glendale Law School and was admitted to the California Bar in 1986. He is a recipient of the Los Angeles Professional Excellent Award and an active member of The Board of Governors for CAAA. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer®, which represents the top 5% of lawyers in an area practice since 2006.

Attorney Harold Wax was one of the pioneers in the field of workers’ compensation. Alan, who worked his way up from file clerk to partner, was determined to live up to the exceptional legal example of his father set before him, working hard to prove his mettle in the field of law that his father helped pioneer. As such, the father-son duo has accomplished much over their decades of service.

Added to this, both Harold and Alan remain active members of the organization’s board of governors. They continue to grow their legacy as leaders in workers’ compensation law.
