Trusted Voices in Workers’ Compensation
Attorney Harold Wax was one of the pioneers in the field of workers’ compensation. Alan, who worked his way up from file clerk to partner, was determined to live up to the exceptional legal example of his father set before him, working hard to prove his mettle in the field of law that his father helped pioneer. As such, the father-son duo has accomplished much over their decades of service.
Between them, Harold and Alan have been founding members of prestigious associations, including:
- Alan Wax is the founder and first president of the Los Angeles Valley Applicant’s Attorney’s Association (LAVAAA)
- Alan is a recipient of the Los Angeles Professional Excellence Award
- Harold Wax was one of the founding fathers of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association (CAAA)
- Harold has served as president of the Lawyers Club of Los Angeles (1976)
CAAA, an organization dedicated to fighting for the rights and dignity of injured workers in California, honored Harold with the Eugene Marias Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997. Added to this, both Harold and Alan remain active members of the organization’s board of governors. They continue to grow their legacy as leaders in workers' compensation law.
